Bright Sunshiny Day

We've had some great weather here the last couple of days and that means LOTS of outside time...and I LOVE outside time! With so much time outside, I've been able to do all of my favorite things.

I played with my boats, buckets, and frogs in my water table.

I dug some nice holes for mom and dad and filled my buckets with the dirt.

It takes lots of concentration to get the dirt in the bucket rather than on the driveway.

I played lots and lots of basketball. As hard as I try...I'm still just a bit shy of the rim.

I rode my bike. I still have a hard time pushing the pedals, but I'm really good at scooting around with my feet. I even got a new helmet!

I blew some bubbles.
I even stopped for a brief moment to have a snack.

It was GREAT!

My New Backyard!!!

Mommy and Daddy decided it was finally time to tame our jungle of a backyard...so they called in the landscapers. After about 5 days of cutting down, pulling out, building, leveling, etc., it is done! I was hoping to post some pictures of before and at stages in the process, but I can't seem to get them to load. Luckily, I was able to get some of the final results up...here they are...

The view from the deck.

The side yard.

From below.

Now I just need to convince them to put in a play structure! :)

Spring Break

Because we hadn't had a vacation in about a week and a half, I decided that I needed to take a spring break trip to visit Gramma and Grampa. Mom and I drove down on Wednesday and then Daddy came down on the train on Friday night. I don't have any pictures of the train station, but I had a great time running to and from benches with Grampa. Luckily, Daddy's train was about 45 minutes late, so I had plenty of time to run! :) Here are some of my pictures...

Gardening with Grampa.
He had a shovel that was just my size!

I love to dig in the dirt.

I got to help with the watering can too!
I even got to wear some gloves. They were a little big, but I'll grow into them.
Grampa made sure I made time to stop and smell the flowers.
After all of our hard work outside, Grampa treated me to a little foot massage.

Aunt Liz was in Portland for spring break too. We had a great time blowing bubbles! Aunt Melissa came over too...but she was a little camera shy. :)
Mmmm...tastes good!
Watching some of the NCAA tournament with Grampa.

Gramma played lots of chooga choogas with me...which means she moved the trains around the track while I held my two Thomas choogas and watched. :)
