Picasso Perfect-ish

I'm growing and learning with every experience. But, I have to say, this particular day I learned a lot. I really feel like I got to have an intimate experience with a new medium. Do you love paint too?

Picasso had a blue period, right? Am I better because I'm in the red/orange period?

Scooter

We had a wonderful sunny weekend here in the northwest and that meant lots of time outside. What better way to spend that time than to ride my brand new scooter?!? All I need is Harley Davidson jacket and some chaps! (Sorry the video is the wrong way...mommy always forgets! :)

Omi, Oma, Oh My!

I was lucky enough to have Oma and Omi (who eluded our cameras, but was captured in some of the family pictures that we will post soon) come in for a great visit last weekend. There was lots of spoiling...and playing...and kissing...and hugging. Jeezz!! But, it was all worth it for the golf. FORE!!

#1 wood, off the TV, into the kitchen.

I'm allowed a drop from the carpet, right?

You have to keep your eye on the ball.

And then follow through. Man, this game is easy. I don't know why Dad is always complaining.

And, after a good round of golf, you have to take a relaxing chance to sit and have a drink.

Wait a minute. I'm not old enough for coffee? That's just wrong.

Rare Croc Sighting

While mom and I were at the zoo to see the new penguin exhibit, we saw a rare croc in the Lemur moat...can you see it???

Luckily, we were able to find a nice zoo employee who just happened to have a net with a long pole.

It only took him a couple of seconds and I had my croc back...woo hoo!

I guess maybe I shouldn't climb on the nice wooden fence next time...

Bright Sunshiny Day

We've had some great weather here the last couple of days and that means LOTS of outside time...and I LOVE outside time! With so much time outside, I've been able to do all of my favorite things.

I played with my boats, buckets, and frogs in my water table.

I dug some nice holes for mom and dad and filled my buckets with the dirt.

It takes lots of concentration to get the dirt in the bucket rather than on the driveway.

I played lots and lots of basketball. As hard as I try...I'm still just a bit shy of the rim.

I rode my bike. I still have a hard time pushing the pedals, but I'm really good at scooting around with my feet. I even got a new helmet!

I blew some bubbles.

I even stopped for a brief moment to have a snack.

It was GREAT!
